1-ISOPROPYL-PYRROLIDIN-3-YLAMINE DIHYDROCHLORIDE - Introduction
DIHYDROCHLORIDE is also known as isopropyl aging amine hydrochloride (HCl-IPA). Its nature is as follows:
1. Appearance: White crystalline solid.
2. Solubility: Soluble in water and alcohol solvents.
3. Stability: stable at room temperature and neutral conditions.
4. Toxicity: has a certain toxicity, need to pay attention to safe operation.
Use:
1. Medical field: as a local anesthetic drug, commonly used in skin surface anesthesia.
2. Surfactant: Commonly used as a surfactant to improve lubrication performance.
3. Sealant: Used as a crosslinking agent in the sealing material to enhance the sealing performance.
4. Scale Inhibitor: used as a scale inhibitor can effectively prevent the formation of scale.
Method:
There are two main preparation methods for didrochloride:
1. 3-Aminopyrrolidine is reacted with isopropanol in the presence of hydrochloric acid to give 1-isopropyl-3-aminopyrrolidine, and then an excess of hydrochloric acid is added under acidic conditions to give DIHYDROCHLORIDE.
2. The 3-aminopyrrolidine is reacted with isopropanol under acidic conditions to give 1-isopropyl-3-aminopyrrolidine, and then an excess of hydrochloric acid is added under basic conditions to give DIHYDROCHLORIDE.
Safety Information:
didrochloride has certain toxicity, need to pay attention to the following safety matters:
1. Wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles during operation to avoid contact with skin and eyes.
2. Operate in a well-ventilated place to avoid inhaling gas or vapor of the solution.
3. Storage to avoid contact with strong oxidants to prevent dangerous reactions.
4. Use should follow the correct operating procedures, and comply with the relevant safety regulations and operating guidelines.
5. If you accidentally come into contact with chemicals, rinse with water in time and seek medical attention immediately.
